Turmeric Milk (Dairy-Free Version for Those with Dairy Allergies)

Ingredients:

1 cup almond milk (or any dairy-free milk)

1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon honey (optional)

Instructions:

Heat the almond milk in a small pot until it’s warm (not boiling).

Add the turmeric powder and black pepper and whisk until smooth.

Pour into a cup and stir in honey if desired.

Drink before bed to calm the cough.

 

Turmeric has powerful anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. The black pepper helps increase its absorption, and almond milk makes it suitable for dairy-free diets.
